| The Secret of Life is truly one thing.
Sometime back there was a movie called City Slickers, where Billy Crystal
and two of his friends ventured into the west on a modern day cattle drive.
There, on a most enlightening adventure, they met Curley, played by Jack
Palance, who taught them that they spent fifty weeks a year getting various
kinds of knots tied in the rope of their lives, then expected to untie them all
during a two week vacation amid the inspiration of the west. Curley went
on to say that they could avoid all that anxiety by learning to understand that
the secret of life is just one thing. Curley never told them what
the "one thing" was, but warned that it was up to each individual to find that
one thing for him/her self. In reality, the secret of life, for
anyone, is in knowing God; in coming to understand His purpose for their
individual lives... |
