WELCOME to QUESTIONS' and
ANSWERS' TRAIL CAMP
 A Trail of Education
and Discovery
At this particular trail camp, our subscribers' and
viewers' most popular questions are answered around the campfire. Just com'on
in and pull up a lawn chair, sit on a log or a rock, or just take a ground seat
at the campfire, and we'll do the best we can to answer your questions. It's a
fairly warm evening and we have a host of stars out there tonight. There's a
radiant, tepee style fire in the pit (a good fire is better than anything), and
I'm ready if you are...
All viewer's questions are answered via land
or e-mail. Questions discussed around this campfire are those of which are
either frequent inquiries, or have been selected for discussion here due to
their uniqueness. If you would like to
submit a question (of any type) just "click" on the Q & A campfire,

Answer
Question # 1: Though you may never be able to forgive yourself, you must
believe that God has removed your former sins, and continues to remove those
you unwillingly continue to commit when you acknowledge them to Him. Satan
will accuse you for the rest of your earthly life (Revelation 12:10). He does not want you to believe
that anyone could forgive the mess he believes you made of your own life, nor
the grief he believes you have caused others. Yet, God has said; For
as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who
fear (respect) Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He
removed our transgressions from us... Their sins and lawless deeds I will
remember no more. (Psalm 103:11,12 & Hebrews
10:17)
Remember your shield of faith. Use it moment by
moment to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one (Ephesians
6:16). Talk to yourself orally when you doubt forgiveness. Remind the
tempter of Gods' promises... remember Gods' promises and don't trust in your
own feelings. Refuse to listen to the taunting of others. Be also willing
to totally forgive others. Remember also the difference between your
actual sins and the consequences of those sins. In heaven you are
free, yet, here on earth you may spend the rest of your life in
sorrow and remorse, but God, if you depend on Him and trust in Him, will
comfort you and carry you through to victory. He knows your grief and is well
acquainted with each of your sorrows. Remember too that your active love
for others covers a multitude of sins (1st Peter 4:8)...
Again, trust in Him! ¤ Thanks for your question! I pray that
this answer is helpful to you. Please keep reading Gods' Word, seeking Him for
increasing comfort and you will be spiritually rewarded. Many of the trails you
can hike here at this website may also help lead you toward and into some rich
understanding in this regard. For your particular difficulty, you might hike
the Mountain of Believing on the New Birth Trail.
* Answer Question # 2: Can't find that in your
science book, huh? Good question! Gravity has never been understood by
modern science. All I can say is that it is Gods' created force which holds
everything together (Colossians 1:16,17, Hebrews 1:3).
If it were just a fraction weaker on the earth, we would all drift out into
space. We would be unable to plant or build. The moon would float away as would
all of the other planets. If gravity were any stronger, we would find it
difficult to stand up, no birds or planes could fly, and clouds would lie on
the ground.
Gravity is so precise that we can count on the sunrise and
sunset to the exact second. It allows the universe and all that is in it to
function perfectly and to maintain a variety of environments. It is the work of
a perfect mind. Mathematical equations account for everything, and all things
are in balance and in harmony. The worlds' science cannot comprehend this thing
we call gravity. It remains one in many of Gods' great and perfect
mysteries. ¤ I have had several "science related" questions this
month, from different parts of the country. Thank you for your question. I hope
the answer I gave you allows you to understand more of the wonder of
God. I hope you will hike the variety of trails at this website, which will
allow you the opportunity to discover many wonders.
* Answer Question # 3: Yes. This theory was highly
publicized throughout the "scientific" world. Many articles appeared in science
journals which claimed that the true age of the earth could be determined by
examining the dust on the surface of the moon. Scientists claimed that since
there was no atmosphere on the moon that produced wind, rain or other moving
conditions, a study of the depth of accumulated dust on the lunar surface would
allow an accurate calculation for the age of the moon. Since dust does collect
at a very precise rate, even in a vacuum, their theory would indeed work...
They estimated that there would be about 62 feet of dust on the moon, which
equaled their estimated age of the earth and the moon; about 2 billion
years.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) when the first astronauts landed
on the moon they found only two inches of dust on the surface, a long way from
the predicted depth of 62 feet. A recalculation determined that the moon was
only 6 to 10 thousand years old! Many "scientists" would not accept this
and abandoned their "moon dust" theory. For those who have read the Bible, this
discovery was infallible proof as to the true age of the earth and the moon in
their present form, since they were both created at approximately the same
time. ¤ I had to do a little research there, but found it quite
interesting yet not surprising. Thank you for your question. For more
information as to the age of the earth and related discoveries, you may want to
visit the Trail of Time or the Lake Trail at this
website.
* Answer Question # 4: Thank
you so much, Justine. I get your question quite often, but your politely
sincere wording made me decide to list it on the website, which you added in
your letter that you had access to. In the July 2003 Newsletter, I
began a four part series on Knowing God (Page 2, From the
Editor). I believe that particular series will help you to truly find
your answer. Once you have looked well into that four part series, I
suggest that you hike the Mountain of Believing junction of the New
Birth Trail. I suggest most importantly that you print these off and find a
remote place in nature to read and contemplate them. I know your Montana area
has many such places. Please get back to me with your discoveries, or anytime
that you need further assistance. Thanks again for your question. May the Lord
answer your prayers!
